On track earnings for this position are $140,000/yr depending on qualifications and performance. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE


As an Account Executive / Outside Sales Representative, you are at the front lines of revenue generation. You love interacting with people and establish a rapport easily. Your excellent communication skills are an essential part of your success, as you spend a lot of time chatting with prospective clients on the phone or in person as well as by email, video, and on social networks. You also participate in trade shows, sales meetings, sales training, and other venues deemed necessary to promote sales and brand recognition.


As you listen to needs, you effectively explain how our Total Restaurant Management (TRM) solutions, Digital Menu Boards (DMB), Point of Sale (POS) systems, and Back Office software services can satisfy those needs. You skillfully overcome objections. Your mission is to win new sites and drive customer penetration.


Though you love interacting with people, you are also organized and goal-oriented. You effectively use SFA/CRM software to manage your relationships with leads and customers. Using your analytical side, you proactively forecast sales and carefully plan out your month, quarter, and year in order to regularly achieve individual and team goals. You also stay current on competitor product offerings and industry trends.


You are a key player in improving overall team sales productivity and assist with onboarding new sales employees. Seeing your efforts pay off in your paycheck gives you a great sense of accomplishment. And, you also feel good about playing an important role in the success of a respected market leader while helping other good businesses grow and succeed.


QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  • 2 years of progressive sales experience in the tech industry
  • Competence with SFA/CRM tools (NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipeliner, PipeDrive, Nimble, etc.)
  • Competent with marketing automation tools (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Availability to be in office during normal business hours

A background in an SaaS tech environment and a bachelor's degree are preferred but not necessarily required. Are you a can-do person with a strong work ethic and hunger for success? WORK SCHEDULE


This is a full-time M-F, 8am-5pm position with exceptions, typically around travel.
