WAND Corporation of Eden Prairie, MN is looking to hire a full-time Technical Support Representative / IT Help Desk Analyst to provide technical support for our clients. The position pays a competitive starting wage of $17.00/hr plus overtime. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE / IT HELP DESK ANALYST


As a Technical Support Representative / IT Help Desk Analyst, you use your fantastic customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills to resolve issues for our clients via phone or electronically. You provide technical assistance to our point-of-sale and digital menu board customers. Often this requires the remote support of computers and IP enabled endpoints.


You have a positive, can-do attitude and always do all you can yourself, but are also efficient about escalating or rerouting more advanced support and service requests as appropriate. Your amazing problem-solving and communication skills help you succeed in this position. You are a troubleshooting extraordinaire! But, your real superpower is your exceptional aptitude for customer service. Your ability to listen to our clients' needs and help them feel heard and valued as you solve their issues is invaluable, not only to them but to our success as a company!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE / IT HELP DESK ANALYST

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree OR equivalent experience in a computer-related field
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with basic computer troubleshooting


Experience with Windows-based software and Chrome OS and/or a support case/ticket management system would be a plus! Do you have the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms? Are you detail-oriented and able to follow procedures? Do you build rapport easily? Are you patient and empathetic? Do you have a professional demeanor? Are you honest and reliable? If so, then you might just be perfect for this Technical Support Representative / IT Help Desk Analyst position!


WORK SCHEDULE


This is a full-time 40-hour week position which may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays. Our support center is staffed 24/7/365. The typical work schedule consists of 5 consecutive 8-hour work days.
